Augusta, GA- Richard "Dick" Padeni of Bradenton, FL, passed away on November 16, 2021. Dick was born in Winchendon, MA on July 12,1933 the son of Milo and Anna (Smith) Padeni. He precedes the love of his life Shirley (Bourgoine) Padeni.
Dick has 3 children from his previous marriage: Jimmy, David and Tracy,
along with 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Dick loved to play golf and was a Yankees Fan. Earlier days he played ball and coached his sons Little League team and hockey team. He was a graduate of Murdock High School and Served in the US Army during the Korean War. After an Honorable discharge, he attended Cushing Academy and Fitchburg State. Beginning a 32 year career with Decotone in MA and SC ending as Production Supervisor. A couple more years as Manager of Converting Operations with ITD Metalized.
Dick and Shirley have lived the past 28 years in Florida fulfilling his plan of retiring on a “golf course.” Along with Family, Golf, and his many friends over the years from Massachusetts, Florida and Canada. A highlight of his life was the opportunity to "CADDY" for his dear friend Laura Davies during a LPGA tournament.
Burial will be at the discretion of his family in Winchendon.
