Richard Woodward
Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, March 16, 2017, Mr. Richard Frederick Woodward, 83, loving husband of 52 years to Mrs. Valeria Loroscopi Woodward.
Mr. Woodward was a native of Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Beulah and Lloyd Woodward. He lived in Columbia County for the last 47 years. He was retired with 27 years of service in the United States Army, he served three tours in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He then worked as a civil service instructor at the Signal Tower at Fort Gordon. Mr. Woodward was a Free and Accepted Mason of Martinez Lodge 710, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and Alee Shriner Legion of Honor.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include daughters: Monica and Deborah; grandchildren: Joshua and Sydney; great granddaughter: Ashlyn; sister: Judy Rogers and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Bellevue.
