Rick Watson

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, May 25, 2020, Mr. Richard “Rick” Thomas Watson, 59, aka “Cool Breeze" or “Hollywood,“ beloved husband of 30 years to Teena Marie Watson.

Rick was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1960. He served in the United States Navy from 1980-1984. He worked for Smith Brothers Mechanical for 35 years and was a devoted supporter of his wife and son's business, Ballroom in Motion. He loved “being out in the woods” hunting, fishing, and enjoying a round of golf with his son and friends.
As a friend, you’d be hard pressed to find someone more loyal, and he was always ready to have some fun!

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his son: Matt Watson; sister: Susan L. Watson; and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ellen Watson and his brother, Donald Watson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Elks Lodge, 205 Elkdom Court, Augusta, GA 30907.

Memorial contributions may be made in the form of restaurant gift cards to Augusta Oncology Nurses Station at 3696 Wheeler Rd. This is a great way to help other families that are dealing with Cancer and the nurses have their finger on the pulse of the room and know just where the need is.
