Rita Ann Thornhill
Rita Ann Thornhill of Augusta, died in Evans at the home of her youngest son, Robert J. Thornhill (Lona), on Friday, October 21, 2022.
She was born in Schwandorf, Germany to George and Franziska (nee Suess) Reidhammer. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband MSG John F. Thornhill.
She is also survived by her sons Michael R. Thornhill and David G. Thornhill (Jean) of Carrollton, GA as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rita always had a laugh and a smile and will be greatly missed by those that knew her.
Robert and Lona would like to express their appreciation to the staff, Jean, LaTonya, and Jeremy, of Kindred Hospice for their care during her passing.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
