Mr. Robert “Bob” Lowe

Hephzibah, GA – Homecoming was Wednesday, February 8, 2012, Mr. Robert Lowe, 58, loving husband of Mrs. Anne Morgan Lowe.

Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Jennifer Lowe Josey (Deran); son: Jeremy Lowe; stepdaughters: Toni Temple (Dean), Amy Williamson (Carey); stepson: Allen Hurt; mother: Wilma Lowe, father: the late Allen Lowe; sisters: Linda Vaughn (Marvin) and Joyce Leezer; brother: Richard Lowe (Rose); grandchildren: Alexandria Josey, Evan Josey, Blake Stuber, Cara Atwell, Tyler Atwell, Jordan Temple, Sierra Hathcock and the late Trevor Atwell; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a native of Lewistown, IL. but lived in Augusta for the last 11 years. He retired after 26 years of service as a meat cutter for Kroger. He is a member of West Acres Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class, and was active in the homeless and children’s ministry. He also ran a children’s cancer fishing ministry in Hephzibah.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethel Road Cemetery in Davisboro, GA at 3:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hondarius Gym Fund or LOG @ West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road, Evans, GA 30809 or to Cavalry Baptist Church, 20 North Ave I, Canton, Illinois 61520.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
