Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 15, 2017, Robert “Po Boy” A. Denton, 91, loving husband of 69 years to the late Agnes M. Denton.
Mr. Denton was a World War II Marine veteran, was a member of the Masonic Order, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter: Delilah "Dee" Ellis (David); granddaughter: Shannon Hershkowitz (David); grandsons: Justin Ellis (Melissa) and Blake Ellis (Kim); great grandchildren: Ian Hershkowitz Matthews, Adam Hershkowitz, Morgan Ellis and Luke Ellis; and sisters: Barbara Butcher and Martha Null.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Steve Patteson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 106 SRP Dr., Evans, GA 30809.
