Mr. Hollands was a native of Birmingham, AL and graduate of API/Auburn University. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. Mr. Hollands retired as a Civil Engineer from Plant Vogtle-GA Power.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: Dr. Celeste Hollands and husband Larry Dixey; sons: Oliver Hollands, Charles Hollands and wife Deidre; grandchildren: Avery Hollands, Alexis Hollands, Abram Hollands, Aaron Hollands, Aleia Hollands, Christina Howard, Kaylie Howard; great grandchildren: Trenton Hollands, Chevie Hollands; sister: Barbara Kite; and niece: Joyce North.
Graveside services, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Athens, AL will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens with Donald Osborne officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
