Mr. Brumfield was a native of Huntington, WV, but was living in Martinez for the last three years. He was employed by the United States Department of Defense as an IT Administrator over the Hospital Computer System. Mr. Brumfield previously served in the United States Air force for four years
Family members in addition to his wife include son: Robert Christopher Brumfield; mother: Gertis Brumfield; nieces: Morgan Beaver, Ashlyn Beaver, Keely Armstrong and Emily Beaver; and nephews: Aaron Beaver and Charles Beaver, Jr.
In Augusta, a funeral service will be Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Robison officiating.
In Kentucky, a funeral service will be Tuesday, December 23, at 1:00 P.M. at Young Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with a visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at noon. Interment will follow at Austin-Diamond Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America Foundation at 4132 Madeline Drive, Augusta, GA 30909.
