Mr. Utz was born in Hanover, PA and resided in Augusta for 22 years. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. Mr. Utz was a retired Industrial Engineer for Westinghouse.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Robert L. Utz, Jr. (Patricia) of Cockeysville, Md., Bruce A. Utz (Maureen) of PonteVedra Beach, FLA, daughter: Suzanne Saboy (Michael) of Fort Collins, CO., grandchildren: Holly and Robert Utz, Christine and Lindsey Utz, Brian and Jennifer Saboy, sister: Marie Wellman of Elmhurst IL.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. David Hunter officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Cockeysville, MD.
