Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, May 25, 2015, Mrs. Roberta Wilkinson Hickman, 88, loving wife to Edward Hickman.
Mrs. Hickman was a graduate of Decatur High School and a member of In Focus Church. She was co-owner of Wilkinson’s Cafe along with her late husband, John Carswell Wilkinson, before going on to become the head secretary for the Dean of Business at Augusta College. She was an excellent cook and dedicated Christian who loved the Lord. Mrs. Hickman was a loving wife and sister, and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: David D. Wilkinson and John Carswell Wilkinson, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren: and sister: Betty Hagist. In addition to her first husband, she is preceded in death by her son, James Edward Wilkinson.
A graveside service will be Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Pastor Brent Garrard officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Dr., Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
