Rodger Hokrein

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, September 5, 2024, Rodger Warren Hokrein, 82, loving husband of Marilyn Hokrein.

Rodger was born in Scranton, PA. He was the former owner of Once Upon a Time Bookstore in Okeechobee, Florida. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was known affectionately as “Bompa” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: Tina Hokrein; grandchildren: Stephannie Perry and Jaden Rene Hokrein; great-grandchildren: Tyler Perry, Logan Walker, and Cameron Thomas; sisters: Cheryl Lynn Hokrein and Trudy Ann Napoliano; brothers: Joel Vance Hokrein and Robert Lee Hokrein; and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Kelly Hokrein; and daughter: Lyn Ann Hokrein.
