Mr. Ronald C. Walker, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Mr. Ronald C. Walker, Jr., 74, entered into rest Friday, September 9, 2011.
Mr. Walker served in Vietnam and retired from the Army (Signal Corp) in 1976. He then became co-owner of Walker Clock Co. from 1976 to 2005. Mr. Walker designed and donated two of the Georgian clocks for Georgia’s 250th Anniversary.
Family members include companion: Ginette Gearhart, daughter: Veronica Biggs, son: Donald Walker (Irene) IN Tucson, AZ, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and a sister in Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Walker and by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Chester Walker, Sr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
