Ronald Zuercher

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 Ronald, 83, loving husband of Nannette.

Ronald spent his formative years in Texas, where he attended Southern Methodist University and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. When he was a junior in college he worked as an intern at General Dynamics. After graduation he continued to work in the defense industry, until 2001. During his career he worked in many different places including Fort Worth, The Netherlands, Israel, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas.

Family members include his wife: Nannette Zuercher; his children: Monica Culberson (the late Kevin Culberson), Kenneth Zuercher (Lisbeth), Susan Ferrara (Vincent), and Christopher Zuercher (Emerald); his grandchildren: Elizabeth Carpenter (Taylor), Catherine Hardy (Zach), James Culberson, Reiner Zuercher (Lindsey), Lawrence Zuercher (Sara), Claire Zuercher, Marcus Ferrara, Eleanor Ferrara, Margerette Wolff (Neal), Nicholas Ferrara, Lucy Ferrara, Esther Zuercher, and Nephon Zuercher; his great-grandchildren: John Carpenter, Miriam Zuercher and Katie Zuercher, Elise and Irene Wolff; his brother: Earl Zuercher (Marie).

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21, at four o’clock, at Vineyard Church of Augusta, 3126 Parrish Rd, Augusta, GA 30907. Rev. Reese LeRoy will be officiating. The family will receive condolences and a reception will be held at the church following the service.
