Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, July 22, 2010, Mrs. Rosa Price, 96, wife of the late Clarence Johnnie Price.
Mrs. Price was a native of Anderson, SC and had resided in Augusta since 1947. She was a homemaker, seamstress, and a member of Marks Baptist Church.
Family members include daughters: Gladys Smith (William) of North Augusta, SC, Dorothy Dyar (David) of Aiken, SC; sons: Charlie Price (Helen) of Grovetown, Thomas Price of Augusta, Donnie Price of Peachtree City, GA; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by daughters: Rosa Lee Price Vail, Jo Price Spence and son Clarence Johnnie Price, Jr.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Larry Harmon and Rev. Finley Limehouse officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
