Rosemarie Templier

Rosemarie Templier, a radiant soul, was born on February 2, 1929, in the city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her warm and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. Throughout her life, she consistently exuded a warmth that made her presence truly unforgettable and the significant impact she had on those around her.

In her former years in Port-au-Prince, Rosemarie found joy in spending quality time with her family and dedicated herself to the upbringing of her children. Her role as a mother was marked by a nurturing spirit and unwavering devotion, as she earnestly sought the very best for the well-being and future of her cherished children.

She made the emotional decision to move to Georgia in 2012. This decision was a powerful testament to her enduring dedication to reuniting with her daughter and extended family.

Rooted deeply in the traditions of the Catholic Church, Rosemarie found peace and solace in her faith, serving as a guiding light throughout her life's journey. Her spiritual foundation was a source of strength and comfort during both joyous and challenging times.

Rosemarie's favorite activities were a true reflection of her lively personality. She was passionate about telling captivating stories, recalling memories and events from her childhood, having meaningful conversations, laughing at others' jokes, attending family gatherings, watching her favorite TV shows and finding spiritual fulfillment in her church activities.

Rosemarie passed away on December 1, 2023, due to a recurring illness. She is survived by her cherished family: Marie Pardieu, Jocelyn Templier, Sacha Parker, Kevin Stephane Templier, Fernande Louisdhon, Gislaine Templier and extended family members. Rosemarie's departure has affected many, she will be remembered for her unique personality, kind nature, and the lasting love she showed to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of her memory, family, loved ones and friends will come together to commemorate and celebrate Rosemarie’s life. A life filled with love, strong family connections, unwavering faith, and the limitless happiness she brought to the lives of those fortunate enough to share her journey. A private funeral service will be held at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, in Rosemarie's honor to share her legacy, love and compassion. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of everlasting serenity.
