Roy Culbreth

North Augusta, S.C. – Roy Pierce Culbreth, 81, loving husband and best friend of Rynda Sue Culbreth, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 17, 2023.

Roy was a native of Augusta, Georgia, a graduate of The Academy of Richmond County, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Augusta College. He was an employee of Cullum’s Department Store prior to transitioning to Augusta Utilities Department where he worked as the Warehouse Manager for 26 years before retiring. He was baptized and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for over 20 years. Roy was an avid golfer and loved college and professional football.

Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: Patricia Wilson (Chris); stepchildren: Trampus Walker (Shawna), Troy Walker (Melissa) and Kristin Brock (Steven); and 7 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Eric Biddy officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 605 Reynolds Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
