Mr. Biggam was born and raised in Winston Salem, NC. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. After his tour he settled in Augusta where he began a career in woodworking and carpentry. Fred was a skilled craftsman who could draw, design, and build anything. He was a loving father, grandfather and a loyal friend to many.
Family members include son: Russell F. Biggam IV and wife Bridget, daughter: Miriam Emily Biggam and finance Albert “David” Blackstone III, Soulmate: Pamela Blackwelder, stepdaughters: Brandy Orona and husband Benjamin, Crystal Seago and husband Jeremy, Candace Blackwelder, grandchildren: Maycie Graham, Peyton Biggam, Rylee Biggam, Stacy Seago and Andrew Seago.
Mr. Biggam was preceded in death by his parents: Russell Fredrick Biggam II and Emily DuBose Biggam.
The family will celebrate his life in a gathering of family and friends at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Wildwood State Park.
