Thomson, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2016, Mrs. Ruth Ann Honaker, 60, loving wife of 28 years to Charles “Charly” Honaker.
Mrs. Honaker grew up in Reynolds, GA but has lived in Thomson for 20 years. She attended Mercer University and for the last 10 years she owned and operated Branum’s Embroidering.
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her stepson: John Honaker and wife Britta of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren: Kate and Marshall Honaker; parents: Dawson and Emily Mims of Reynolds, GA; brother: Dawson A. Mims, III and wife Susan of Asheville, NC; sister: Laura Routt and husband Greg of Roswell, GA; mother-in-law: Mutsuko Honaker of Augusta, GA; and sister-in-law: Shannon Honaker of North Augusta, SC.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends following the service.
The family requests no flowers be sent but memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
