Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Mrs. Ruth Wells McLeod, 96, wife of the late John Robert McLeod, Sr.
Mrs. McLeod was a native of Friendship, MD but has lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a loving wife and mother.
Family members include sons: John R. McLeod Jr. and wife Brenda, James L. McLeod and wife Nancy, the late Charles Norman McLeod; daughter: Mary M. Tulloch of Eden, NC and her late husband, Dr. Buddy Tulloch.; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel. A private burial will follow.
