Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 25, 2009 Mrs. Sara L. Neely, 72, wife of Charles E. (Chuck) Neely.
Mrs. Neely was a native of Avera, GA and had resided in Augusta and Martinez since 1957. She was a Homemaker and member of Martinez Baptist Church. She loved to cook, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Neely never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her and touched many hearts.
Family members in addition to her husband include her daughters: Joyce May Loyal (Ranny) of Augusta, Jayne May Norman (Perry) of Martinez; stepdaughter: Marie Speers of Arizona; brothers: David LaFavor of Augusta, Bob LaFavor of Conyers, GA, Gene LaFavor of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren: April Grealish, Heather Wilkins and four great-grandchildren: Emily, Megan, Bryson and Cole.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Grover Lee officiating.
Memorials may be made to Odyssey Healthcare, 2508 Professional Circle, Augusta, GA 30906. The family would like to thank Carl Weathers and Amy Stewart for their loving care.
