Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, March 5, 2014, Mrs. Sarah Louise Powell Videtto, 79, wife of Henry Videtto.

Mrs. Videtto was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She was a member of Central Christian Church and she loved working at Macy’s in the Augusta Mall. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Videtto was a loving, generous, and Christian woman who was always there for her family and friends.

Family members include daughter: Susan James and husband Chris; sons: Terry Powell and wife Beverly, Gary Powell and wife Kathy, Greg Powell and wife Sharon, David Powell and wife Lisa; 19 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren. Mrs. Videtto was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Respress E. Powell, Jr.

The family would like to thank Geraldine Alexander, Gentiva Hospice, and Doctors Hospital for all of their compassion during her extended illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Dr. Emmitt Tip Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
