Lexington, SC – Entered into rest Wednesday, March 11, 2015, Mrs. Sharron Stephannie Layman, 64, wife of Mr. Bill Layman.
During her life Sharron had been a nurse and an independent business owner but she considered her role as a wife, mother and grandmother her most significant accomplishment and greatest source of joy.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: John Beck (Kristen) of Michigan; daughters: Stephannie Napier (Tracy) of Oklahoma and Carrie Hires of South Carolina; step-children: Lila Lybrand of South Carolina and William “Jay” Layman, Jr. of Georgia; five grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers: Buddy Skinner, Lawrence Skinner and Michael Skinner; and sisters: Cathy Rysavy, Patsy Cooper and Cecelia King.
A memorial service will be Monday, March 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra Leightner and Rev. Lawrence Skinner officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sharron’s name to St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at
