Sheila Tucker

Sheila Louise Tucker was called home to be with the king on November 19th, 2024 from labor to his reward. She was born to John and Mae Samuels on October 5th, 1955 in NYC, NY and was the eldest of 5 children. 

She is preceded in death by both her parents, John Baker Samuels and Charlie Mae Samuels, her 1st born son Cory Tucker, eldest daughter Linda Tucker, sister Vivian Samuels, granddaughter Destiny Dorsey AKA Binky Boo and longtime forever friend Lewis Mitchell. She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Joyce Glencamp (Emmanuel) of Brooklyn, NY, 2 Brothers, Ronnie Samuels of NYC, NY and Vernon (Jennifer) Samuels of Atlanta, GA. Four children Joe Tucker of Augusta, GA, Anthony (Alice) Tucker of NYC, NY, Austin ( Malia) Tucker of Augusta, GA, Amber Tucker of Atlanta, GA, (7) grandchildren whom she loved dearly LaDonnias Williams, Aniya Tucker, Ada Tucker, Harmony Hall, Nico Tucker, Destinee Tucker and Nora Tucker, (3) great grandchildren, Zachariah Coleman, Divine Davis and Dream Davis, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and dedicated friends, to whom she would have said, “For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:6-7.

Memorial service will be held at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ed Rees Officiating and will be announced shortly.
