Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, September 12, 2016, Mrs. Shelba Jean Prudence, age 74.
Mrs. Prudence was a native of Augusta but grew up in Florida. She was a graduate of Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Fl. She moved back to Augusta and retired from University Hospital where she cared for patients for many years. Mrs. Prudence was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very close to her family. She loved baseball, especially the Braves and loved to play cards.
Family members include her son: Paul Wilce Jr. and wife Cynthia; daughters: Shannon Loney and husband Armando Jr., Tracey Ray and husband Tommy, and Terri Hallman; grandchildren: Morgan Wilce, Justin Loney, Madelyn Harris, Christopher Wiggins and wife Kasey, Adam Ray, Christopher Loney and wife Krista, Armando Loney, Shawn Loney, Ania Loney and Lynnasia Loney; great-granddaughter: Liliana Jean-Iris Poole
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service.
