Sherry Fuller Crain

Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, Sherry Fuller Crain, 55, loving mother to Steven Crain II.

Sherry was a lifelong resident of Hephzibah, Georgia. She was a 1985 graduate of Hephzibah High School and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Sherry worked as a dispatcher for 17 years with Augusta Utilities. She was a hard worker and put her heart into everything she did. Sherry loved animals, the outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her nieces.

Family members in addition to her son include her parents: William C. & Wynona Fuller; sister: Stacey Smothers (Ben); nieces: Emily and Sarah Smothers; aunts: Diane Ewry (Vic); Cindy Wolfe (Scott); Donna Jay (Gary) and Alice Jackson; uncles: Hugh Fuller and Buster Parrish. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Mary Nance and Irma Fuller and uncle Willie Thomas “Junior” Helms II.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Wren officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark “Bobo” Heggs, Jay Carver, Bobby Dudley, Doug Black, James Henry and Willie “Tres” Helms III.
