Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, March 21, 2014, Mrs. Shirley Claxton Hall, 78, loving wife the late Roy L. Hall.
Mrs. Hall was a native of Johnson County, GA and was a member of Hope Chapel.
Family members include brothers: Zack J. Claxton, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Grovetown, Glenn P. Claxton and wife Janice of Harlem; and a sister: Joanne C. Cushman of Martinez. She was preceded in death by brothers: Eddie B. Claxton (Elsie), Billy M. Claxton, Franklin Claxton (Doris); and by a brother-in-law: Jack Cushman.
A funeral service will be Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with her brothers Rev. Glenn P. Claxton and Rev. Zack J. Claxton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Chapel, 5513 Wrightsboro Rd., Grovetown, GA 30813.
