Sibyl Durham Hall

Fort Payne, AL. – Entered into rest Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Crown Health in Alabama, Mrs. Sibyl Durham Hall, 90, wife of the late Maurice E. Hall.
Mrs. Hall was a native of Chavies, AL., but lived in the Augusta area most of her life. She recently relocated to Alabama for health reasons and to be close to her family. In Augusta, she was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Hall worked for the South Columbia Elementary and Columbia County School System as a Lunch Baker.
Family members include her daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Bill Godfrey of Nashville, TN; sons and daughters in law: Eddy R. and Billie Hall of Martinez, Michael Alan and Christy Hall of Phoenix, AR; grandchildren: Kevin H. Lynch, Rusty Hall, Taylor Jane Hall, Jamison Smith, Casey Thomas and Austin Thomas; and sister: Hazel Scott of Rainsville, AL.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
