Mrs. Sibyl S. Teasley

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, November 24, 2010, Sibyl S. Teasley, 82, wife of the late John I. Teasley, Jr.

Mrs. Teasley was a retired seamstress for Thomson Co., was an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, the Faith Discussion Sunday School Class, the Young at Heart Choir, the Layona Glenn Circle, and she participated in the crafts for the Fall Bazaar.

Family members include: daughters: Beverly T. Sprayberry (Ronnie) of Evans, GA, and Patricia T. Wood (Tommy) of Martinez, GA, son: John I. Teasley, III (Connie) of Augusta, GA, grandchildren: John M. Sprayberry (Christy), David R. Sprayberry (Amy), Michael J. Sprayberry, Thomas A. Wood, Jr., Terri A. Buck (Anthony), Wendy T. Spinks (Jason), Alan W. Teasley, great-grandchildren: Allexis, Dylan, Casey, Dylan, Caleb, Madeline, Abby, John Noah, Emily, and Jacob, brother: Randolph L. Smith (Pat), and the Charles E. Lee family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Broome officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fleming Lyons Club and the Faith Discussion Sunday School Class. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
