Evans, GA- Steve J. Huffman went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family and friends.
Steve was born in Augusta, GA in 1947 where he lived all of his life and was a retired CPA. He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Linda Huffman of almost 50 years, son, Steve J. Huffman, Jr., sister, Wiley Brickle, brother, Perry L. Huffman (Lynn), brother-in-law, Marion L. Kendrick (Rhonda), sister-in-law, Jennette M. Johnson (Larry), and several special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Steve is also preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley L. Huffman.
Special thanks go to “Bubba” Johnson (his nephew) and Hillary Sorrells for the tender loving care they provided for Big Steve.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 28, 2016 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary of the church until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
