Steven M. Cain, 50, and his son Ethan Cain, 13, passed away on February 27th in New Richmond, Ohio. Steven M. Cain was born on May 25, 1972, in Augusta, Georgia to Bobby Eugene Cain and Barbra Baker Cain, while his son was born on September 14, 2009, in Augusta, Georgia. Steven M. Cain was the youngest child out of three siblings.
Steven M. Cain lived a happy blessed life. He loved baseball and nature, wrote several books and poems. He also loved to sing and play guitar and played in several bands. His gentle personality touched the lives of many people, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Steven's son Ethan Cain was a diligent middle schooler. He was an A student who loved telling jokes, swimming, and playing video games. He had a quiet loving personality that touched the lives of many people, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Steven M. Cain is survived by his daughter, Samantha Cain, and sisters, Wanda Garrison, and Darlene Corda. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial event will be held on March 18th with visitation starting @ 5:00 PM and service @ 6:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral, 214 Davis Rd, Augusta, Georgia, where family and friends can pay their respects and celebrate Steven M. Cain’s and his son, Ethan’s life.

Steven and his son Ethan will always be remembered as kind, gentle, and loving souls. They will be greatly missed by their loved ones and all who knew them.
