Belvedere, SC – Entered into rest Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Steven John Vinson, 20, son of Suzanne Wright Vinson and Larry Steven Vinson, Jr.
Steven was born in Augusta and was a graduate of Augusta Preparatory Day School. He worked in the food and beverage industry, especially pizza, as a server, cook, and manager. Steven was known for his infectious smile and was truly loved and admired by many.
Family members in addition to his parents include sister: Kayla Lee Vinson of Belvedere; grandparents: Larry S. and Theresa Vinson and John G. and Lee Wright; aunt: Bridgit Vinson Dresser (Blaise); uncles: Jason Vinson (Heather) and Randall L. Armstrong (Rebecca) and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Jay Knotts officiating. Immediately following the service, all family and friends are invited to the Vinson-Dresser home at 755 Oberlin Road, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at development@afsp.org or to Augusta Preparatory Day School Football Program.
