Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 16, 2013, Ms. Sue Ann Mock, 59.
Ms. Mock was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association. Ms. Mock enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She retired from EZ-GO Textron after 30 years as an Administrative Assistant.
Family members include son: Jeff Melton (Cortney); sisters: Bonnie McGahee (Harry) and Judy Kersey (Herman); brothers: Robert “Red” Mock, Ward R. Mock, Jr. (Randy); several nieces and nephews and granddog: Luther.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. J.D. Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will include: Richard Kersey, Jeff McGahee, Nick Mock, Ryan Mock, Nick Kersey, Paul Bordon and Chris Anderson. Honorary pallbearers include: Charles Rooks, James Rooks, David Herrington, Sully Blair, Kenny Gordon, Joe Melton and Ronnie Lane.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Georgia Health Sciences Foundation at 1120 15th Street, Room FI 1051, Augusta, GA, 30912, in memory of Sue Mock (Image Boutique).
