Susan Adele Wardrope
Atlanta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, May 10, 2010 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Susan Adele Wardrope, 40.
Ms. Wardrope was born at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She was a 1987 graduate of Aquinas High School, attended Auburn University and received a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern Tech. She lived in Germany and traveled throughout Europe. She moved to Atlanta and worked for Georgia Tech as a utilities analyst. Susan was very active in establishing feral cat colonies at Georgia Tech and active in the Humane Society. She loved to travel with her mother.
Family members include: mother; Kay-Frances Wardrope of Hollywood, Fl., father; Don Wardrope of Augusta, brother; Michael J. Wardrope and his wife Melissa of Charlotte, N C., best friend for life; David Hester, aunt; Lydia Campbell of Okmulgee, OK., aunt & uncles; Jim and Mary Whitney of Stowe, VT., Joseph and Lia Mingolla of St. Thomas, VI.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Fr. Michael Lubinsky officiating.
