Augusta, GA – Ms. Susan Williams Storer “MeMe” entered into eternal rest Monday, February 26, 2018.
Ms. Storer, a native of Augusta, retired from Civil Service after 36.5 years, most of which was spent in the casualty assistance office at Ft. Gordon. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Family members include her daughter: Tonya Storer Fairburn and husband John; son: Rodney S. Storer and wife Jenny; 4 precious grandchildren: Caid and Caleb Fairburn, Elliott and Hollis Storer, all of whom she loved more than words can say; 3 brothers: Harry Williams and wife Patty, Allen Williams and wife Connie, Kent Williams and wife Kerri; 3 sisters: Sherry Harris, Shawn Hawk, and Sheila Alexander; many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
