Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 3, 2012, Mrs. Susie Palm Joiner, 83, wife of the late Robert Joiner.
Mrs. Joiner was a native of the Augusta area. She enjoyed special occasions with family, especially the children and grandchildren and tending to her flower gardens. She faithfully worshipped with other believers at Bethany Chapel in Augusta, GA and is now absent from the body and face to face with the Lord!! We’re thankful and blessed for her influence in our lives!
She was a beloved mother of three sons: Robert Dwight Joiner (Linda), Allen Wayne Joiner (Deborah) and Ricky Gene Joiner and grandmother (Ma Ma) of three grandsons: Robert Brian (Melissa), Allen Wayne, Jr. (Jean) and Bradley Sean (Sonya) and one granddaughter: Lindsay Joiner Bui (Michael); great grandchildren: Justin, Brayden, Everett, Camille, Liam, Riley, Ali and Dylan.
Along with her immediate family, she was survived by two sisters: Margaret Drake and Lillian Shaw and two brothers: Buddy Rountree and Preston Rountree.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, GA with Elder Jules Godin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MCG Children’s Hospital, 1446 Harper Street, Augusta, GA 30912.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at
