Augusta, Ga. - Entered into rest on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at her residence, Mrs. Sybil Schramm. Family members include her daughter: Kim Williams; grandson: Jonathan Wingate and fiancé Danielle; granddaughter: Mary Randall Morris and her husband Joseph Jr.; great-grandson: Joseph Morris III; great-granddaughter: Georgia Alison Morris; and four legged best buddy: Boss.
She was preceded in death by her son: Jonathan Luker; brother: Thomas Green Johnson Jr.; sister: Fay Murphy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 7 PM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Rev. William Hilley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until the time of service. Burial will follow on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett, AL.
Mrs. Schramm was native of Valley, Alabama but moved to the Augusta area in 1972. She owned and operated Sybils Hair and Wig Salon. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a member of Jones Creek Golf Club and was past President of the Ladies Golf Association. She was also a member of the CSRA Shag Club. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
