North Augusta, SC – Entered into rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at University Hospital, Mr. Terry D. Daniel, 65, husband of Mrs. Aagot Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was born in Mitchell, GA and grew up in Wrens, GA. He served for 4 years in the US Air Force and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife of 44 years. Upon returning to the Augusta area he began a career with United Parcel Service that lasted 35 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include: son: Alan Kent Daniel and wife Christie; daughter: Melissa Daniel Walker and husband Charlie; parents: the late Marvin Hester Daniel and the late Lurlean Kent Daniel, brothers: Roy Daniel, Marvin Daniel and Darry Daniel; sisters: Eulawynne Kitchens, Janice Philippe and Wynell Lewis and grandchildren: Emma, Charlie III, and Cole. He is predeceased by siblings: Margaret (Eloise) Williams and Tommie Daniel.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Allan Faulkner officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation: 3962 S. Delaware St. Englewood, CO. 800110
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the home of Missy and Charlie Walker.
