Terry Wayne LaPoint

Terry LaPoint, a dedicated servant to his country and a beloved patriarch, passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on March 3, 1946, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, Terry was the epitome of courage, honor, and dedication throughout his remarkable life. Terry served his nation with distinction for an incredible 30 years in the United States Navy, rising through the ranks to retire as a Master Chief. His commitment to duty and unwavering leadership earned him the respect and admiration of all who served alongside him. 

Preceding Terry in death was his cherished wife, Debra, with whom he shared 28 years of love and companionship. Despite the profound loss of his beloved wife, Terry leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. 

He is survived by his three children, as well as two children from Debra’s previous marriage. Terry was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. At his passing, Terry was the only living sibling among nine. Terry cherished his family deeply and was a source of strength and support for them throughout his life. His enduring love and guidance will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Terry leaves behind a legacy of selfless service, unwavering dedication, and boundless love. Though he may have departed this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, You will be truly missed.
