Mrs. Thelma DeLoach
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, April 7, 2012 at University Hospital, Mrs. Thelma Wright DeLoach, 82, wife of Calvin M. DeLoach.
Mrs. DeLoach was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired after 30 years from Augusta College as a secretary in the Sociology and Registrar’s office. She was a loving wife and mother and cherished her grandchildren. She welcomed many of her children’s friends into her home and was known by many for her sweet tea, tuna fish and deviled eggs.
Other family members include her daughter: Debbie Reed and husband Jim; son: Stuart DeLoach; daughter in law: Julie DeLoach; three grandchildren: Callie, Megan and Kyle DeLoach; brother: Clifford Wright and wife Lois; sister: Carolyn Pitts; brother in law: Earl DeLoach and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers, Scarlett and George Day and Kathryn Brown for their kindness and love.
