Thomas “Tom” A. Beaver
Yemasee, SC – Mr. Thomas A. Beaver, “Tom”, 72, entered into rest on April 14, 2011.
Tom was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area before moving to Yemasee, SC. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. Tom was a great story teller with a tremendous sense of entertainment and had a gift of making every situation humorous. He retired from Claussen’s Concrete Company. Tom was a giving person and loved by all.
Surviving family members are his fiancé, companion and caretaker, Kathy Wade; five children, Tammy Wilson (James), Tommy Beaver, Tony Beaver, Patty Crews (Bryan) and Patrick Beaver; four sisters, Sandra Barinowski, Zelma “Sister” Broadwater, Laura “Lolly” Collins and Harriette Greer (Bill); one brother, Sandy Beaver; a number of grand-children, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Jackie Beaver.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in Westview Cemetery with Chaplin Craig Crosby officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel White, Bradley Beaver, Jacob Beaver, Fred Collins, Wes Beaver, Tommy Weathersbee, Mike Chapman, Mike Beaver, George Laube and Travis Laube.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Thomas’s name.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 18, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
