Thomas was born and raised in Augusta. He enjoyed his job of 15 years as a Walmart Associate on Deans Bridge Road. Thomas was a hard worker, a loving kind man who never met a stranger and would do anything he could to help others. Known for his big heart, he put his mark on this world as a son, brother, uncle, cousin, coworker and a friend to many, Thomas will never be forgotten.

Family members include his parents: Robert and Linda Jolly; sisters: Tina Gambrell (Randy), Samantha Williams; nephews: Tyler Gambrell, Jason Gambrell; and niece: Savanna Williams.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Ricky Coule officiating. Entombment will be at Bellevue Mausoleum following the service.
