Thomas “Porky” Patrick Paquette, Sr.

Augusta, GA – Mr. Thomas Patrick Paquette, Sr., was affectionately known by many as “Porky”, entered into rest Friday, June 3, 2011.
Porky was a native of Boston, MA but lived in the Augusta area all of his life. He worked at The Augusta Fire Department, The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, and The Augusta National Golf Club as the Assistant Caddie Master. Porky was a member of George Walton Lodge 699 where he was a Master Mason. He was a member of the Augusta Bulldog Club. He was an avid donor for the Sheppard Blood Center and was a baseball coach for many years for the West Augusta Little League. Porky dedicated his life to raising his boys.
Family members include, sons: Thomas “Patrick” Paquette, Jr. (Michelle), Cameron “Ryan” Paquette (Brittnee), Brandon Taylor Paquette (Christina), grandchildren: Zachary Paquette, Brantley Paquette, Samuel Paquette, Wynsor Paquette, Walker Paquette, Payne Paquette, Tristen Paquette. Aunt Penny Wolfe and family, Frank Grimes and family, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Potter Paquette.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church, Evans, GA with Rev. Hal Hodgens officiating.
