Deacon Thomas K. Seith
Augusta, GA – On Thursday May 15, 2014, Deacon Thomas K. Seith, 86, husband of 50 years to Monique M. Seith entered into rest at his home surrounded by family and friends.
In addition to his wife, family members include sons, Courtney Seith, Kenneth Seith; daughter, Anne Seith; grandson, John Paul Masak II; and brother, Ludwick Seith. He is preceded in death by his brother, David Seith.
Mr. Seith was a native of Yonkers, N.Y. He served in the US Navy at the end of WWII. He retired as a programmer and analyst with IBM in the United States and internationally. He was ordained a deacon in 1982 in the Bridgeport Diocese of Connecticut. Tom and Monique moved to Augusta in 2006.
Tom, a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, was an Associate member of Madonna House Apostolate of Combermere, Ontario, Canada and also a Full-Covenant Member of the Alleluia Community of Augusta.
The family will receive visitors on Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 P.M. A funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Thomas Healy as celebrant. The burial will follow in Dearing, GA. at the Alleluia Cemetery.
