Appling, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, August 3, 2020, Thomas Arthur Wood, Jr., 50.

Thomas was born in Valdosta, GA, moving often with his family, due to his father being in the Air Force. He graduated from Del Rio High School in Texas and ending up in Augusta, attended Georgia Tech. Thomas was co-founder and co-owner of PGLS Home Improvements. A faithful Christian, Thomas was confident in “Being Still” and God’s grace to work in his life.

Family members include his parents: Thomas and Patricia Wood; sister: Terri Wood; brother: Scottie Russell (Tammy Palmer); niece: Allexis Platt; nephew: Dylan Platt; great-niece: Jessy Midkiff and many family members and close friends.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery in North Augusta, SC. Pallbearers will be the following: Scottie, John, Michael, David, Alan, and Chad.
