Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 24, 2011, Mrs. Tommie Green, 92, wife of the late Albert Green.

Mrs. Green was a native of Edgefield, SC. She worked as a launderer for over 30 years in New York. She was loved and cherished and will be missed by all of her family.

Family members include her daughter: Rose Clark, grandchildren: Johnnie, Linda, Judy, Lola and Ben Clark; sister: Georgia Garrett and a host of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Russell Brisco officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarks Hill, SC.
