Tommy Lee Young

Entered into rest Tuesday, June 6, 2017, Tommy Lee Young, 68, loving husband of Patricia Young.
Mr. Young is a native of Athens, GA but lived in Augusta for many years. He served in the United States Navy and was a subcontractor for over 40 years. He was the owner of Young’s Carpet Service. Mr. Young was a loving Dad to his son and loving PaPa to his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and restoring trucks. Mr. Young had a great sense of humor, was a good man and would help anybody.
Family members in addition to his wife include, his son: Brian Young; grandchildren: Carter Young, and Mary Young; sister: Jenny Bennett (Ronald); and brother: James Young (Janice).
A memorial services will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 950 West Fairs Road, Grenville, SC 29605.
