Tomoko Ishikawa Foreman
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021, Mrs. Tomoko Ishikawa Foreman, 94, wife of the late Mr. Richard L. Foreman.
Tomoko was born in Sendai, Japan, married Richard on December 23, 1957, and traveled throughout Japan and the United States as a military wife and mother. Her passion was cooking and creating wonderful dishes for her family and friends to enjoy as well as having a love of flowers and gardening. She made Augusta her home in 1970 and has family still residing in Japan.
Family members include her daughters: Debbie Stroud (Kipp), Jane M. Foreman (Ronnie Shepherd), Christeen Tolle (Wolfgang); grandchildren: Josh Stroud, Jessica Selby (Joseph); Chad Shepherd (Christina), Whitney Gurzi (Randy); Sophie Tolle; great grandchildren: Kinzlee Shepherd; Morgan Selby; Braylon Gurzi and Jake Gurzi. She is also survived by her sister, Sumiko Sakurada, in Japan.
The family would like to thank Homestead Hospice for their compassionate and outstanding care with much appreciation to Lauren Veal, Jessica Brett and Laney Dozier.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating.
