Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, March 7, 2016, Mr. Joseph A. Price, 71, husband of Janice Downing Price.
Tony was a native of Savannah, GA and resident of Augusta for the past 43 years. He was a Pharmacy representative for Cardinal Health for 50 years. After retirement; golf and his grandchildren were his greatest joy.
Family members in addition to his wife include his son: Joseph A. Price, Jr. of Martinez; daughters: Michelle P. Dodd (Dewayne) of Augusta and Jennifer Price of Springfield, MO; grandchildren: Price Dodd, Mason Dodd, Ethan Dodd, Owen Price, Deegan Cessna and Lucy Caplinger, and sisters: Joan Wiegand and Maureen Hobbs.
A funeral mass will be Thursday, March 10, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill with Msgr. P. James Costigan officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church, 1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904 and American Cancer Society, 30607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
