Tonya Jones Ligon

Augusta, GA – Tonya, a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA has been called by the Lord Jesus Christ to serve with Him in heaven. 

A wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and retired real estate/mortgage professional. Tonya was able to rise to any occasion, business or personal.

Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Thelma and her brother, Ferrall Lee Jones. Survivors include her husband: Fred Ligon; children: Stephen Holton, Alicia Holton Howland (Brad), Anne Hatch (Jim) and Stephanie Johnston (Wendell); sisters: Cheryl Meyers and Tammy Lariscey; grandchildren: Mary Cason, Owen Johnston and Mary Olliff Johnston; and great-grandchildren: Ansley and Raelynn. 

Tonya requested that no services be conducted on her behalf. Interment will be private for family only at Westover Memorial Park.
