Traci Valerio

Martinez, GA - Entered into heaven on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Mrs. Traci Kuntzelman Valerio, 63, loving wife of Mr. Paul Valerio and daughter of Robert Kuntzelman and Sandra McAree.

Traci was known by many titles throughout her life. She was a beloved teacher, a loyal friend, an incomparable mother, a joyful grandmother, and a pillar of faith to communities across the world. Originally from Washington, D.C., and a proud UVA graduate, Traci spent nearly 20 years serving the Lord on the mission field in Israel. She cultivated faithfulness in every community in which she lived, including here in Augusta. Dating back to 1980, Traci contributed to the work of WGAC as well as Paine College. In recent years, Traci taught students across the CSRA who will remember her fondly, but none more than her beloved middle schoolers at Heritage Academy of Augusta.

Traci loved fiercely and will be desperately missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, her sister, Cyndy, three children, Ben, Michael and Elizabeth as well as their spouses, Nikki, Meghan and Connor, and three grandchildren, Ezra, Avigail, and Squish.

The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church of Augusta.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the Valerio Family requests donations are made to Heritage Academy in Traci’s name.
